Reporter, Steve Barton writes that Linton Heights Junior School, one of CTSN SCITT’s partnership schools, exemplifies how much effort has gone into the post-lockdown return to the classroom
The headteacher at Linton Heights Junior School, has explained the measures it, like all other schools, had to put in place to enable pupils to return to their classrooms.
James Puxley said it was with ‘joy’ that teachers and support staff welcomed all of its pupils back to the school, which in 2019 was given a very strong rating of ‘good’ by Ofsted.
He added: “With the backdrop of parents celebrating the end of remote learning, careful preparations have been made at our school to ensure pupil, staff and parental safety.
